Your injectable treatment is coming up and you are wondering how best to prepare? We have some important pre-treatment instructions for you so that you can get the most out of your botox treatment and minimize any unwanted effects. Read on!- Avoiding alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment can reduce the chances of bruising.
- Avoiding anti-inflammatory medications (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve), if possible for 5 days before treatment, will also reduce the chances of bruising.
- Avoiding supplements such as vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements for 5 days before treatment will also reduce the chances of bruising.
- Be sure to have something to eat and hydrate with water before your procedure. This will decrease the chances of light-headedness during your treatment.
- Please come without makeup applied or come early to remove it before your appointment time.
