Brighter Skin, More Even Tone

Targeted Care for Dark Spots & Sun Damage

Lighten the Look of Pigmentation

Merrion Pigmentation Treatment Program in Oakville – Targeted Care for Uneven Tone

The Merrion Pigmentation Treatment Program is a structured, doctor-led protocol designed to improve the appearance of sun damage, dark spots, and uneven skin tone.

At Merrion Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Kate Healy combines advanced laser technology, brightening medical-grade serums, and Healite infrared phototherapy to help gradually lift discoloration and support a clearer, more radiant complexion over time.

What Is the Merrion Pigmentation Treatment Program?

This program consists of four customised treatment sessions that work in sequence to:

  • Gently resurface the skin

  • Target pigment formation

  • Calm and support the skin as it brightens

You won’t find a single “one-and-done” treatment here. Instead, the program is designed as a progressive series, allowing your skin to respond and improve safely with each session.

How the Merrion Pigmentation Treatment Program Works

Laser Resurfacing

Laser resurfacing gently renews the skin’s surface and encourages more even turnover. This helps to:

  • Loosen and lift dull, surface pigmentation

  • Smooth texture and refine the complexion

  • Improve the overall brightness of the skin

Over the course of your four sessions, this gradual resurfacing helps soften the look of stubborn pigmentation and sun damage.

Targeted Brightening Serum Delivery

During treatment, the laser creates tiny microchannels—invisible pathways within the skin. These allow brightening serums to be delivered deeper than with normal topical application.

These serums are selected to:

  • Regulate pigment pathways

  • Help fade dark spots

  • Support a clearer, more even skin tone

By pairing resurfacing with targeted active ingredients, the program addresses both the visible pigment and some of the underlying triggers that contribute to uneven tone.

Healite Infrared Phototherapy

Each session is followed by Healite infrared phototherapy, a soothing light treatment that:

  • Calms the skin and reduces inflammation

  • Supports natural healing after resurfacing

  • Enhances the overall brightening and rejuvenating effect

Pigmentation Program Focus Areas

Sun Spots & Age-Related Pigmentation

Years of sun exposure can leave behind flat brown spots and scattered areas of discoloration. The combination of laser resurfacing and targeted brighteners helps soften and fade these visible changes over time.

Uneven Tone & Patchy Discolouration

Patchy or mottled pigmentation can make the skin look tired, even when it is otherwise healthy. This program supports more even pigment turnover, helping restore a smoother, more uniform tone.

Dullness Associated with Surface Pigment

Dullness is often linked to a build-up of pigmented, dead skin cells on the surface. Gentle resurfacing plus brightening serums helps to lift this dull layer, revealing a clearer, more luminous complexion beneath.

Before / After

At Merrion Medical Aesthetics, the Pigmentation Treatment Program is
designed to deliver progressive improvement rather than overnight
change.

With each session, the aim is that your skin gradually appears:

·      Brighter and more even

·      Less marked by visible sun damage

·      Smoother and more refined in texture

Individual results vary, and a maintenance plan and daily sun protection
are important parts of long-term pigment control.
