After treatment, you may notice small red spots or slight swelling at the injection sites—this is completely normal and usually fades within a few hours. Mild tenderness or redness can also occur, and while bruising is rare, it’s possible. If a small bruise does appear, it’s typically very discreet and easily covered with makeup.

If you’re prone to bruising, you might consider avoiding omega-3 supplements, vitamin E, and alcohol for a week before your appointment, as these can increase the risk for some patients.

Occasionally, people report a mild headache or slight nausea after treatment. These symptoms are short-lived and typically resolve within a day or two.

You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, learn about post-treatment care, and understand what to expect. If you decide to go ahead with treatment the same day, the injections are done using an ultra-fine needle—similar to those used for insulin in children. Most people describe the sensation as a tiny pinch, and the injection process typically takes just 10–15 minutes.

Afterwards, you can return to most of your usual activities right away. To ensure the best results and minimise any side effects, we recommend avoiding the following for the first 24 hours:

About 2–3 weeks later, we’ll invite you back for a follow-up. This allows us to see how your muscles have responded and make any minor adjustments if needed—ensuring you get the most natural, beautiful results possible.

Most Botox appointments are quick and easy—typically just 15 to 20 minutes for return visits. There’s no downtime, and in most cases, it’s not obvious that you’ve had anything done immediately after treatment.

For your first appointment, we schedule 60 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to get to know you, understand your goals, and answer any questions you may have. We’ll carefully assess your facial anatomy and create a personalized treatment plan just for you. The actual injections only take a few minutes.

After Botox, avoid rubbing the treated area, strenuous exercise, facials, saunas, and lying down for about 4 hours.

For the next 24 hours, it’s best to skip alcohol and anything that increases blood flow to your face. You can return to most normal activities right away, and we’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure the best results.
